Drunk and disorderly women up a third - Holmes

The number of women being fined for being drunk and disorderly has risen by nearly a third in just three years, according to research by the Liberal Democrats.

Higginbottom says "NO" to Incinerator

Residents are furious about plans for an Incinerator on Sheepbridge Lane in Dunston. Paul Holmes MP, County Cllr Mark Higginbottom and local Lib Dem Councillors have all, repeatedly, made it publicly clear that they oppose the application for the incinerator in Dunston.

On June 4th you will get the chance to vote for our East Midlands representatives on the European Parliament. Our local MEP Bill Newton Dunn is the most experienced of all British MEP's and has lived in the region for over 30 Years.

"Greener" with the Lib Dems

Liberal Democrats pride themselves on their "green" credentials and the Chesterfield Liberal Democrats are no different. Since taking over the previously Labour run Chesterfield Borough Council in 2003 they have worked towards making Chesterfield "Greener".
