Paul Holmes MP and Chesterfield Liberal Democrats: Listening to and Fighting for Chesterfield

New Police Station for Stone Lane?

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 1st Jan 2007

Barrow Hill & New Whittington councillors David Stone, Paul Stone and John Bradbury are calling for the old toilet building on Stone Lane to be converted into a sub-station for local police. It would be ideally situated halfway between town and Staveley and could be a great help in fighting local crime and antisocial behaviour.

It is particularly important to have local police stations now that the Labour Government is planning on running Chesterfield's Police Force from Northampton.
