Tapton Park’s Peace Garden

Brimington residents were very distressed to see that vandals had run amok in Tapton Park's Peace Garden. They had uprooted hundreds of plants and flung earth and soil around the garden.

Thanks to local councillors who sent an urgent message to Council staff, and did some of the tidying up themselves, the garden was put right within 48 hours of the damage. The Peace Garden was replanted almost immediately after the vandals spoiled it.
