Paul Holmes MP and Chesterfield Liberal Democrats: Listening to and Fighting for Chesterfield

Goldwell Hill Parking

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 1st Jan 2007

Since the Brockwell Lib Dem Focus Team got the double-yellow lines put on the allotments side of Goldwell Hill, many vehicles have started parking on the other side of the road - sometimes causing a nuisance by blocking drives.

The Focus Team reported this to Derbyshire County Council who say that the only thing they can suggest is for residents to ask for a white line to be painted across the drive entrance - but residents would have to pay for this.
