Year 10 Gifted and Talented students from Parkside School in Chesterfield enjoyed a day in London on Monday 10th July, where they were shown around the Houses of Parliament by their constituency MP Paul Holmes. The students were shown both the Houses of Commons and Lords, before participating in a question and answer session with Paul.

Paul said: "I am always delighted to show students from my constituency around the House of Commons and the House of Lords and I would encourage more schools to contact me to organise a visit to Westminster. Visits to Parliament are an excellent way for school students to learn about British democracy."
