Action Day with Lord Paul Scriven

This week our Lib Dem canvass teams knocked on doors and engaged with residents in Linacre to talk about the issues that matter to Chesterfield residents the most.

Lord Paul Scriven, local government advisor in the House of Lords, joined Chesterfield Parliamentary Candidate Julia Cambridge this week to support Cllr Peter Barr and fellow candidate for the Borough Council elections Jean Barr.

Afterwards we gathered over a lovely buffet catered by two of our members, and had the opportunity to hear some words of wisdom from Lord Scriven, one of the Liberal Democrats' most experienced and veteran campaigners.

The day was a great success, and the dry weather was certainly very welcome. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Linacre!
