The Mayor of Chesterfield for 2021 to 2022, Councillor Glenys Falconer

Councillor Glenys Falconer has been officially sworn into her extended term in office as Chesterfield's 380th Mayor, at Chesterfield Borough Council's Annual Council meeting.
Councillor Falconer - who took up the post in October 2020 - will serve as Mayor of Chesterfield until May 2022, under an extended term due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Councillor Glenys Falconer said: "I am honoured to continue in the position of Mayor of Chesterfield. These have been difficult times for everyone, but we do have a strong glimmer of hope for the future and the borough can hopefully look forward to a happier year."
